the room was spacious and well equipped, it had everything i needed.
the evening meal was not good at all. i waited a long time for bread, and then the steak was only warm. my wife's chicken was also not good, and the potato gratin never showed up at all, so i was not happy.

the location was great with free parking available to all guests. the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient from reception to the restaurant. a delicious tea with sandwiches and cakes was a treat, including a fascinating walk around the arboretum.
the absence of a phone in the room was an inconvenience. i was not able to easily request room service when needed. this oversight affected the convenience i expected.

The building itself looked quite nice in a green area. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful . I found the hotel offered easy parking, a real plus for me.
I noticed the room lacked a shower cap, cotton buds, and cotton pads, items I often find useful.

The evening meal proved disappointing. The potato gratin never arrived with my steak. The shower's temperature could not be regulated, leaving me with overly hot water. Breakfast items seemed to have been sitting out, as the bacon was dry and most options lukewarm.

I was impressed with the well kept grounds with its award-winning trees. It was so peaceful! the staff were pleasant, and breakfast was a lovely start to the day. i found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable!
I noticed the decor felt a little dated in some areas. It could benefit from a refresh. otherwise, my stay was quite nice.
